Sailing Experience - Learnt to sail at 'Beauy'YC on Port Phillip Bay - most mouldy moths and VJ's - was on the wire in those days! Sailed 2up with Bob on 'Aquanita' for nearly 20years and did most of the skippering up and down the east coast. The rest of it is another story that Gerry keeps hassling me to write! REASON: The ocean is my most favourite place in all the world. "Dreams without action are a daydream. Actions without dreams are a nightmare." I am a true believer in 'making dreams come true! My husband Bob and I met Gerry, Jen & family way back then - 'Avarest' was at St.Kilda the same time as 'Aquanita' & Jodi was teenie. Both Gerry and Bob were self taught sailors with similar natures (yes - both grumpy!) but actually got on well. Guaranteed Gerry won't be 'grumpy' after he achieves his dream!
